Learn from the best

Our adventures are designed for those who want to experience the planet in a different way. Tapping into a global network of leaders and organisations, we deliver experiences most travel companies would never contemplate, pioneering a new dimension of expert-led adventure.

Inspired by legends

Our great journeys are inspired by the great explorers of the past, from legendary transatlantic sailors to the first summiteers of the world's greatest mountains. They all shared a bold passion for our planet and we follow their approach to create adventures that have both meaning and purpose.

INSPIRATION

Fridtjof Nansen

Nansen was a great Norwegian explorer, scientist, diplomat, humanitarian, and Nobel Peace Prize laureate. In his youth, he was a champion skier and ice skater. He led the team that made the first crossing of the Greenland interior in 1888, traversing the island on cross-country skis, and led the famous Fram expedition to sail to the North Pole.

Anywhere on Earth

Our expertise knows no boundaries, with highly experienced guides and organisers in every part of the planet. This allows us to deliver life-changing opportunities, develop unique bespoke journeys and access rarely visited or explored places that are truly off the beaten track.

Ultimate challenge

We take on some of the biggest challenges on sea and land, from the Fastnet and the legendary Transatlantic sailing races to climbing Himalayan icons Mount Everest and Ama Dablam. Using experts in every sector, we deliver limit-pushing experiences within a safe and secure environment.

INSPIRATION

Alfred Wallace

Alfred Russel Wallace was a British naturalist, explorer, geographer, anthropologist and biologist. He discovered the theory of evolution by natural selection and was a leading expert on the geographical distribution of animal species. He is sometimes called ‘The father of biogeography’ having travelled on many adventures collecting specimens, detailing languages, geography, and the flora and fauna along the way.
